Mike comes from a long history in media. He started in local radio and TV in the 1970s and then spent 35+ at ESPN. There, he had a variety of roles, from Operations to Production to Human Resources and Technology. He was known for innovative operations efficiencies, training programs and business organization. In 2012 he co-founded Heroes Work Here for ESPN and Disney, a Veterans acclimation program, that has since influenced more than 26,000 hires nationally.

 

Since leaving ESPN in 2015, Mike has concentrated on his consulting work and helping business leaders find solutions. He cofounded Rewirement Media, a 24/7 multimedia venture that targets 50+ with relevant, cross platform content. His passion for effective management and leadership led to his book Soft Skills & Leadership – HR Insight for Managers. His goal to create Central Admin LLC (DBA) Cornerstone Solutions is the culmination of working tirelessly to help a variety of businesses and leadership to evolve and thrive, in a cost-effective way.

Bob is a successful business leader, in a variety of roles and companies, over the past four decades. His skill set is deep, including Master Planning, Business & Campus Development,
Procurement, Athletics and Project/Contract/Program/Vendor Management. At Aetna, he led a team that re-organized and consolidated the Purchasing Organization and led to cost
improvements by outsourcing selected facilities, security operations and food services. He has specific success in re-structuring higher education programs to avoid excess cost and resource allocation. All divisions get a makeover when he takes on a college or university, which may also include dining services, bookstores and even the mailroom.

 

Additionally, Bob has teaching and coaching experience at Scholastic and Higher Education levels. He cofounded and manages FACT (Find A Cure Together), a CT based, non-profit company which annually raises funds, primarily in support of the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
